A leading equipment manufacturer in Montreal is seeking a Hydraulic Design Engineer to support the design of hydraulic passageways for hydro turbines. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, five years of hydro engineering experience, is fluent in French and English, and holds or meets requirements for OIQ membership. This role involves developing hydraulic engineering tools, performing CFD analyses, and collaboration across teams. The company offers a hybrid work mode and comprehensive insurance plans.

The Hydraulic Design Engineer will act as a central hydraulic design resource to support the personnel related to design of hydraulic passageways of hydro turbines at all stages for both new units, runner replacements and rehabilitation projects. This mandate will include the following:
