Leeco Steel is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Human Resources Generalist to support our HR operations at the Hamilton, Ontario plant. This role is essential in maintaining smooth day-to-day HR functions and providing responsive support to employees and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment & Hiring Suppor t: Coordinate job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and offer letters.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Prepare onboarding materials, assist with new hire paperwork, orientation logistics, and exit documentation.
  • Employee Records & HRIS : Maintain accurate employee files, update HR systems, and track key dates like probation and anniversaries.
  • Employee Support & Communication : Respond to general HR inquiries, distribute HR communications, and support employee events and training.
  • Administrative Support : Perform filing, scanning, data entry, and maintain HR templates and calendars.
Qualifications
  • Certificate or diploma in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Canadian employment standards
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
