Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Environmental Services Manager and the direction of the Housekeeping and Laundry Lad Hand, the Housekeeping/Laundry Aide is responsible for maintaining the hospital in a clean, neat, germ free condition.

Minimum Requirements
  • A minimum of a secondary school diploma required
  • General knowledge of cleaning procedures and appropriate methods to use for various surfaces an asset
  • Familiarity with isolation procedures and infection control precautions an asset
  • Regular attendance required
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the role
  • Ability to work independently
  • Basic computer skills
