Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking dedicated guest service oriented full-timeHousekeeping Coordinator to join the Housekeeping department.

The responsibilities of the Housekeeping Coordinator will include but not limited to:

  • Coordinate and monitor weekly and daily schedules to ensure correct staffing levels.
  • Monitor the HOTSOS system to ensure requests are completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee smooth departmental operations and providing assistance when needed.
  • Utilize computer programs effectively to manage reports, schedules, and operational systems; strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal systems is essential.
  • Assist with office duties such as assigning rooms and answering phone calls to assist with requests
  • Responsible for housekeeping inventory, supplies and equipment ordered
  • Maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents.
  • Facilitate inter-departmental communication to effectively provide guest support.
  • Monitor and act on special requests as needed, VIPs, special needs rooms, etc.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

This candidate must be energetic, detailed and meticulous in following Hyatt cleanliness standards and have great interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Salary range: $65,000 - $69,000 per year

  • HotSOS/Rex program experience preferred
  • Knowledge Excel and Publisher is an asset
