Job summary

A leading health care facility in London, ON, is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper for the Environmental Services team. The role includes ensuring a clean and safe environment, performing waste management, and handling furniture relocations. Job description

Housekeeper, Environmental Services – Parkwood Institute Main Building – 1 position.

Position: Full Time. Salary: $27.01 - $27.35 /hour. Location: London, ON.

Responsibilities: The Housekeeper performs a variety of environmental activities to ensure the provision of a clean and safe environment for our clients. In addition to cleaning duties, the Housekeeper in Environmental Services will perform waste management and recycling duties, furniture relocation, set‑ups, and various special assignments.

Essential Qualifications
  • Secondary (High School) Diploma
  • Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to apply effective body mechanics to meet the physical demands of the position
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years housekeeping experience in a hospital setting
