Hotel Supervisor – Jasper Glacier View Lodge

Location: Jasper, AB
Pay: $22.00/hour
Full‑time seasonal role for Spring/Summer 2026. Shift and schedule: Nights as needed, Evenings as needed.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Assist Housekeeping team in all areas of daily housekeeping service
  • Manage Housekeeping, Host and Front Desk teams on Manager’s scheduled days off and all other times as required
  • Inspect the work of housekeepers, hosts and front desk agents to ensure proper operational standards are met and maintained
  • Assist the Hotel Manager in maintaining quality control in all areas of the Lodge
  • Assist the Hotel Manager in controlling stock & inventories of supplies and linens to ensure adequate supply levels are maintained
  • Assist the Hotel Manager in investigating all complaints/suggestions regarding all GVL services and take appropriate corrective action
  • Work closely with the Hotel Manager to submit rooms for check‑in and report any room or guest issues
  • Assist Hotel Manager in organizing and providing training programs in accordance with housekeeping/host/front‑desk standard procedures
  • Enforce all company policies and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping, front desk and/or hotel operations required
  • Positive, helpful, team‑oriented, inspiring, cooperative attitude to all aspects of the job
  • Enjoy working autonomously and independently
  • Current Alberta Pro Serve Certification (Required)
  • Process information quickly and recommend solutions to challenges
  • Stay cool under pressure, resilient, adaptable, flexible
  • Strong organization and time management skills are a must
  • Previous cash handling, hotel front desk, hotel night auditing experience, assets
  • Ability to think outside the box, quick, thoughtful judgement and a positive attitude
  • High level of attention to detail, speed, consistency, follow‑through and under minimal supervision
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds (suitcases, laundry bags and mail)
  • Guest service‑oriented mindset and passion for delivering memorable experiences
  • Excellent communication, friendly, approachable, interactive nature
  • Strong teamwork in a busy, fast‑paced environment
  • Very important: flexible to work mornings, evenings or night shifts as required
