Qualifications

• Must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines.
• Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions.
• Use machines to dye, spray, re-oil, and re-buff suede and leather garments.
• Hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments.
• Use finishing equipment and hand irons to finish garments.
• Assemble and bag finished articles.
• Check finished articles to ensure establishment standards.
• Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles.
• Record damage or improper cleaning of articles.
• Use hand-held steam iron to touch up finished garments.
