Job summary

A hospitality organization in Hay River, Canada, is seeking dedicated fulltime Hotel Housekeepers to join their team. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across the facilities, with tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and handling guest requests. The ideal candidate is flexible, a team player, and has at least 7 months to 1 year of experience in housekeeping. Work is at the physical location only, with no remote option.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
  • Dust furniture.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change sheets.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers.

We are currently looking for a fulltime Hotel Housekeepers to join our team as soon as possible. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Position: Full-time/ permanent, 32-40hrs/week (3 vacancies)
Shift: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Language: English
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: 7 months to an year
