Job Summary

How you will make an impact:

You will be responsible for ensuring Patient Porter standards are being maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Run the daily operations of patient transport
  • Work collaboratively with other department staff
  • Transports patients to various hospital locations
  • Timely transportation of patients for their appointments
  • Responds to Emergency Codes as assigned or required
  • Assists, lifts and positions patients to and from transport equipment
  • Responsible for the safety and well-being of the patient while in transit
  • If required, remains with the patient during examination/treatment procedures
  • Available to work flexible hours to meet hospital’s needs
  • Other duties as assigned
About You / Qualifications
  • Healthcare experience
  • Respond to customer requests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Capable to stoop, kneel, bend freely and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Computer related skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility in learning style
