Job summary

A leading healthcare institution seeks a Pharmacist to provide medication distribution and drug information services. Responsibilities include interaction with healthcare professionals and participation in the Pharmaceuticals and Therapeutics Committee. Candidates must have a Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy, a Part A License from the Ontario College of Pharmacists, and prior hospital experience. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. This is a temporary full-time position for up to 9 months.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience in a hospital setting is required.
• Membership with the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP) is preferred.
• Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history required.

Responsibilities

• Provision of drug information to healthcare professionals.
• Support for the Pharmaceuticals and Therapeutics Committee.
• Maintenance of the drug formulary.

Skills

Excellent oral and written English communication skills

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite

Education

Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy
