Koinonia Christian School - Red Deer Society is an Alberta accredited school authority, with three schools: Koinonia@Home, providing home education and distance learning programs, Emmaus Learning Community, a designated special education private school, and Red Deer Campus, a campus-based K-12 school. Employment Opportunities

Support Teachers for Koinonia @ Home are needed for a variety of locations in the province to serve families interested in Home Education in a Christian community. Experience with Home Education, either as a student or a teacher/parent, is an asset. A desire to support families pursuing Home Education is a requirement.

Online Teachers with experience, or who are tech savvy and eager to learn are welcome to apply. Part time positions are available in several subject areas.

0.5 FTE Teachers needed; we would like to start a Blended program in a number of our communities. The teacher would teach grades 1-3 one day of week in Math, Language Arts and an option (depending on teacher and location) provide work for the parents to administer in these subjects the rest of the week. Students would then drop off last weeks work during the all-day class and pick up the next weeks work.
