Securiguard Services is seeking experienced security guards for various sites across Barrie and Simcoe Region.

Our mission is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you will contribute to stakeholder safety by enforcing regulations, policies, monitoring CCTV, operating security equipment, controlling site access, reporting hazards or breaches, and responding to incidents.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ year of security experience, preferably in Healthcare, Mall/Retail, Campus, Corporate/Commercial, Government, Gatehouse, or Construction environments.
• Diploma in Security or Law Enforcement is an asset.
• Valid Ontario Security License.
• Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License (G2/G) and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to commute within Barrie and/or Simcoe.
• Comfort with two-way radio communication, dispatch, and CCTV software.
• Approach situations with listening skills and empathy.
• Experience in de-escalating conflicts and responding to security incidents, medical emergencies, fire alarms, etc.
• Capable of standing and walking up to 12 hours.
• Problem-solving skills, crowd management, discretion, and good judgment.
• Use of force training or Military/Law Enforcement background is an asset.
• A clean driver's record is an asset.
• Smart Serve certification is an asset.

Pay rate: $18 and above.
