The Granite Club is looking for a full time High Performance Coordinator who will be responsible for the year-round physical preparation of all athletes at the Granite Club. This role will lead the creation and hiring of a dedicated high performance team across all athletic sections, ensuring each sport is supported by specialized expertise. They will coordinate and assign trainers for specific programs, while also managing their own roster of clients and programs to directly impact athlete development. Additionally, this position will champion a data-driven approach, leveraging insights from athlete assessment, load management, recovery, and readiness to optimize human performance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the hiring,trainingand scheduling of High-Performance Coaches to work with the Club’s various athlete groups
  • Working directly with the Fitness Manager and Communications Team on all marketing,promotionsand communication efforts
  • Working directly with the various Athletic Department Managers and their respective Coaches to createsynergyon how their athletes are developed and supported
  • Coordinate all studio and gym spacing requirements on a seasonal and annual basis
  • Develop individual periodized preparation programs for each athlete based on training age, physicalattributesand organizational goals.
  • Utilizationof sports technology and athlete monitoring tools including but not limited to Force Decks, Tendo, Polar Heart Rate Monitors, Dartfish
  • Ability to analyze andmakesinformed decisions off performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of an athlete’s program and game readiness.
  • Create and oversee physical testing/combines during off seasons for athlete evaluations • Handle class building on Northstar as well as planning the seasonal Activity Guide
  • Complete confirmation and reminder phone calls prior to the start of each session
  • Responsible for the hiring process, training, review process and discipline of all camp and program staff
  • Review the OCA Licensing Standards with the camp team during training week
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or Masters in the following fields: Exercise Science, Sports Science, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, Biomechanics, or Physiology
  • 7 years of professional experience in working with athletes in strength and conditioning, sportsscienceand/or athlete physical preparation
  • Five years of proven leadership experience, hiring and developing Coaches and a Team
  • Experience in working with athletes in Aquatics, Tennis and Skating among other sports
  • Experience inutilizingsports technology and athlete monitoring tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong social and analytical skills, ability to translate insight and data into action
  • Current Standard First Aid & CPR C certification
  • Flexible to work variable shifts; evenings, weekends and holidays Please note that duties will be added,deletedor assigned asrequired
