Overview

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a key role in shaping the landscape of our projects by using your machinery skills to move materials, prepare sites, and ensure precise execution of tasks. If you’re looking for a career that offers growth and variety, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy machinery – Safely and efficiently operate a variety of equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders to move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel, and other materials.
  • Team collaboration – Work closely with team members to ensure smooth, coordinated operations on-site and contribute to project success.
  • Equipment maintenance – Perform pre-use inspections and basic maintenance to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition and reduce downtime.
  • Follow safety standards – Adhere to all safety legislation, company policies, and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications
  • Experience in heavy equipment operation – Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated experience operating heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, and front-end loaders.
  • Education – Completion of Heavy Equipment Operating school is preferred, along with a valid Class 3 or Class 1 license.
  • Strong work ethic – You’re a hardworking self-starter, a team player, and have a high attention to safety and detail.
  • Adaptability – Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a commitment to meeting project deadlines.
