The mechanic will diagnose and repair heavy truck tractors, tank truck trailers and various other equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy truck tractors, tank truck trailers and various other equipment, using the latest in tools and technology.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers.

Qualifications

• Valid Drivers Licence
• Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification
• Experience and knowledge in diagnosing and repairing heavy truck tractors, tank truck trailers and various other equipment.
• Committed to our Safety program, ability to work flexible hours with minimal supervision and on call.

Working Conditions

The job requires a person to cover a range of circumstances from regular evening and weekend work, shift work, working outdoors, working indoors, working with challenging clients, and so forth.

Physical Requirements

The job is physically demanding where the incumbent is required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, do repetitive tasks, including overhead lifting, with few breaks, bend and twist in awkward positions.
