  • Access to a vehicle and valid driver's license for training.

We are growing and searching for a Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) or Audiologist to join the HearCANADA Chatham, ON team! This is a permanent full-time position and hours of work are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. This position is based at our new clinic that will be opening in late 2025 in the SmartCentres Shopping Plaza (St Clair Street). The position will start ASAP for training and setup of the new clinic ahead of the official opening later this year. Based on the set-up of the new clinic, a driver's license and access to a car is required for training and marketing initiatives (mileage paid).

This is an exciting opportunity for hearing care professionals to grow in a new clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Support existing and new clients in their hearing journey by providing an assortment of audiological assessments and hearing evaluations
  • Staying abreast of new trends in hearing aid promotions, fittings, and technological advancements to make the most meaningful recommendations to clients
  • Building relationships with clients to ensure appropriate care is provided and post-care solutions are recommended
  • Collaborating with our clinic team members to support both walk-in clients and inbound phone calls

What we are looking for
  • A graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Practitioner or Audiology program
  • A registrant of CASLPO (College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario) or AHIP (Association of Hearing Instrument Practitioners of Ontario) in good standing
  • Working knowledge of hearing health care products and services with diagnostic/dispensing experience
  • An excellent communicator who can establish a professional and individualized rapport with clients and team members
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid driver\'s license is required for training and set up of the new clinic (mileage paid)
