About the Role

This is an in-office position in our beautiful Hamilton office, providing you the opportunity to meet your candidates face to face and build those professional relationships in person!

As the Recruiter for the Hamilton Home Care Solutions Branch, you will be responsible for delivering all sourcing, hiring, and onboarding needs for regulated and unregulated healthcare professionals. This will be achieved through the development and execution of local and community workforce strategizing. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring the branch has a team available to meet the branch staffing need and objectives. This is a fast paced, high energy role that requires networking and public speaking. The individual must be flexible to travel within the community to network, interview and hire on candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment: Plan, strategize, source, screen, hire
  • Community Outreach: Connect with community groups, educators, applicants
  • Onboarding/Training: Educate, support, mentor
  • Administration: Onboard, ATS, HRIS, In-House programs
  • Engagement/Retention: Work with the Branch team and Field Staff to ensure all staff enjoy the best Bayshore Experience on their employment journey
Qualifications
  • You have a desire to help improve the lives of those in your community
  • You are an ambassador and advocate of Bayshore’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion principles and practices
  • You have completed a recognized program, such as the Human Resources Administration Program with focus on Recruitment and/or Recruitment experience
  • You are social media savvy
  • You have a solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of human resources and recruitment
  • You have at least two years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities, as a Recruiter in health care
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent format
  • You hold a valid driver’s license and own vehicle and are willing to commute within the surrounding area
  • You are dedicated to providing high-quality service
