Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate in-person and online training courses to audiences across different industries while applying adult learning principles and best practices.
  • Leverage industry knowledge and practical experience to accurately answer participant questions with sensitivity, professionalism, and inclusivity in mind.
  • Ensure administrative requirements are completed accurately and in a timely manner, including timesheets, expenses, etc.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to ensure seamless, accurate, and meaningful content delivery to clients.
  • Deliver courses in-person from a client’s place of business, from third-party locations, or via distance learning from your home office.
  • Work a regular Monday through Friday schedule with occasional evening, Saturday, and travel requirements across Southwestern Ontario.
Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field preferred.
  • 1+ year experience in the Health and Safety Industry, including active participation on a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) preferred.
  • Certification in JHSC, First Aid, or Adult Education considered an asset.
  • Understanding of legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Canadian Standards Association, Canada Labour Code, and other applicable Health and Safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
  • Proficiency using Google Suite, tech‑savviness, and willingness to embrace new technologies.
  • Self‑starter who can work successfully independently.
  • Valid Ontario Drivers license with unrestricted access to operating a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to travel across Southwestern Ontario as needed.
  • Home office space with reliable internet access.
  • Clear criminal background check.
