Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Head of Project Management to join one of our leading Facility Management clients. As Head of Projects you would be responsible for delivering projects within a Business Unit (BU), whilst leading and developing your team in the safe delivery of projects in a principal delivery model.

The role is responsible for creating a sales pipeline to generate revenue for the BU, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within the financial boundaries and profit margins set by the business. Building external relationships with clients and supply partners to deliver projects is vital.

Ensuring all projects follow commercial agreements/contracts, comply with statutory regulations, meet QHSE requirements, and adhere to technical industry standards is essential.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead safe and compliant project delivery by managing risk, ensuring competence, and adhering to contractual and regulatory standards.
  • Drive business growth by identifying project opportunities, developing bids and proposals, and building strong client relationships to exceed financial targets.
  • Oversee project execution across maintenance contracts, ensuring delivery aligns with local playbooks, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage high‑performing teams, addressing underperformance and supporting onboarding to ensure long‑term talent retention and success.
  • Provide strategic leadership through forecasting, governance compliance, and contribution to business unit strategy, while promoting CBRE’s core values.
  • Maximise profitability through cost control, strategic subcontractor management, and market‑based pricing decisions.
  • Chair project review meetings and support communication across teams through reporting, briefings, and consultation forums.
  • Negotiate upstream and downstream contractual obligations and resolve disputes effectively.
Skills and Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working in a client‑facing Project Manager role within the General Contracting industry.
  • Strong experience within principal projects.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory/managerial position (direct report responsibilities).
  • Direct experience working within construction, mechanical, electrical, or plumbing.
  • Experience managing financials for projects, including negotiating, and managing contracts and pitches.
  • Experience presenting pitches and writing up reports to share with clientele.
  • Understanding of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures, forecast, and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports. PMP and LEED AP preferred.
  • Extensive financial experience.
