This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full‑time seasonal role.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Duties, including tour check‑in, ticket sales, retail sales of merchandise, operating the Point‑of‑Sale system and cash handling including cash‑ins/outs
  • Prepare for tours including printing passenger manifests, preparing beverage service and cleaning/sanitizing vehicles
  • Ensure that a high level of customer service is given to each guest
  • Welcome and inform all Open Top Touring guests; answer emails and phone calls as needed
  • Understand and promote all products, services and policies offered by Pursuit
  • Wear a unique uniform, and act as an ambassador for Open Top Touring, Pursuit, the town of Banff and Banff National Park
  • Be prepared for a fast‑paced work environment with changing conditions
  • Supporting timely tour departure in line with schedule
  • Assist Driver Guides with guest experience before and after tours
  • Working in a team environment as well as independently
  • Be attuned to weather patterns and determine canvas roof requirements – safely removing or installing the roof as needed and securing it properly. Some overhead heavy lifting is required
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills, experience is required
  • Sales experience and cash handling experience is an asset
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of a second language is an asset but not mandatory
  • Attention to detail and good communication skills
  • Organized, punctual, hardworking and driven, with conflict resolution skills and the ability to multitask
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Experience in guest focus and group management
  • Have a positive attitude, with a dynamic, outgoing, engaging, animated and friendly personality
  • Adaptability and flexibility in day‑to‑day operations
  • Passion for travel and people with an interest in the tourism / hospitality sector of the Canadian Rockies
  • Knowledge of Canadian History, an asset but not mandatory
