Job Summary

As a member of Digital Development, you will work closely with the E‑Commerce and Product teams and be responsible for developing highly usable and performant mobile apps for both of our brands, Dynamite and Garage. As an experienced Mobile Engineer, you will produce quality code, raising the bar for team performance, speed, and reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively within an Agile team to create, build, and optimize mobile applications for peak customer experience using React Native, TypeScript, Javascript ES6, and SQL;
  • Participate actively in the technical planning, development, and testing of product features and bug fixes to ensure high performance across the mobile ecosystem;
  • Create automated tests (using XCTest, Espresso, Jest, or Mocha) as living documentation of business requirements and hedge against future regressions;
  • Regularly contribute to the team's Confluence space and technical documentation to track ongoing changes;
  • Take the lead on maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines to automate steps, reduce friction points, and streamline deployment using tools such as Expo, Azure, and Fastlane;
  • Contribute to a culture of growth through PR reviews, pair programming, brainstorming, and knowledge‑sharing sessions, proactively promoting software development best practices;
  • Own the solution, following up on post‑release monitoring and identifying areas of concern as well as reasons to celebrate;
  • Communicate effectively with product owners, developers, and QA resources to align on and elevate processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology;
  • 3+ years of software development experience in Agile product teams, ideally serving a LARGE customer base;
  • 3+ years of experience in mobile development using React Native, Javascript ES6, and TypeScript;
  • Proven experience taking part in the full mobile app development lifecycle, from design and development to testing, rollout, and support;
  • Experience working on production mobile applications with meaningful user traffic and performance considerations;
  • Experience building integrations using REST APIs (preferably OAuth, Salesforce OCAPI, and/or SCAPI);
  • Strong understanding of and adherence to the SOLID principles of OOP and design patterns;
  • Excellent communication skills to maintain tight alignment with business stakeholders;
  • Proactive problem‑solver with a go‑getter attitude;
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
Nice‑to‑Haves
  • Technical domain knowledge of iOS and Android native development using Swift, Objective‑C, Java, or Kotlin;
  • Experience with mobile analytics, monitoring, and performance optimization tools (e.g., Firebase, Sentry, Datadog, New Relic);
  • Experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Salesforce Commerce API (SCAPI), including custom integrations and headless commerce architectures;
  • Hands‑on experience integrating and consuming GraphQL APIs, including schema design, query optimization, and performance considerations.
