Job description

Group Financial Director – reporting to CFO

Location: South Dublin. Office based

Salary: Up to €175,000 plus bonus & benefits

Our client is a leading global tech innovator in the connectivity and analytics space is looking for a strategic and driven Group Finance Director to assist with leading finance through the next phase of growth, transformation, and regulatory evolution.

This is a high-impact role within a fast-moving, international business at the cutting edge of IoT. You’ll be instrumental in shaping financial governance, consolidations, and building scalable processes to support global expansion and future PLC-style reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial reporting and governance across the group, ensuring full alignment with IFRS, CSRD, and evolving regulatory standards.
  • Oversee tax strategy and compliance, managing cross-border VAT, transfer pricing, and international tax risks.
  • Lead the treasury function, ensuring effective liquidity management, risk mitigation, and collaboration with banking partners.
  • Deliver high-quality, timely financial reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders and strategic partners.
  • Partner with FP&A and Commercial Finance to boost performance, sharpen forecasts, and drive profitability.
  • Strengthen systems and controls in preparation for future public company readiness.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA) with strong post-qualification experience in financial control, tax, and treasury.
  • Big Four background and experience in high-growth, multinational, or listed companies strongly preferred
  • Deep technical expertise in IFRS
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, and transfer pricing across multiple jurisdictions
  • Hands-on treasury experience including cash flow, hedging, and liquidity risk management
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at executive level
  • Strategic mindset with the agility to operate both at high level and in the detail

Remuneration

  • Base up to €175,000 plus bonus & benefits. This is not a hybrid role. This is an office-based role. South Dublin.
