Graduate Transition Initiative – Technical Sales Development Representative

Full Time – St. John’s, NL

Fonemed is a fast-growing healthcare technology company on a mission to transform how providers deliver care. Our solutions help clinics, hospitals, and health systems work smarter, improve patient outcomes, and operate more efficiently. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a motivated Technical Sales Development Representative to join our team and grow with us.

Position Overview

This is an exciting entry-level role for someone passionate about technology, healthcare innovation, and building relationships. You’ll work closely with our senior sales team to identify new business opportunities, engage prospective clients, work with existing clients to identify new opportunities, and support the full sales cycle.

You don’t need years of experience—just curiosity, drive, and the desire to learn.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the sales team in prospecting healthcare organizations and identifying new opportunities
  • Conduct outreach via email, phone, and social channels to build a strong pipeline
  • Schedule product demos
  • Present our solutions to potential clients
  • Work with existing clients to identify new opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and track lead activity
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams on campaigns and feedback
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive landscape
Skills and Requirements
  • Completion (within the past two years) of a minimum one-year post-secondary or skills-training program at a recognized NL institution (e.g., MUN, CNA, Keyin College, Get Building, etc.)
  • Interest in healthcare tech, digital transformation, or SaaS solutions
  • Strong communication skills and a confident, positive approach to outreach
  • Curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or healthcare is a plus—but not required
  • Ability to work full-time in Newfoundland and Labrador starting January 2026

This position is funded through the Graduate Transition Initiative, delivered by techNL and the Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development. The initiative provides support to eligible companies that hire recent graduates into software development and tech sales roles, providing meaningful early-career experience while supporting long-term growth in Newfoundland and Labrador’s tech sector.
