Job description

Waldorf Academy is seeking a full-time elementary school teacher for First Grade in the 2026‑27 school year. Ideally, candidates will hold Waldorf teaching qualification and experience, and/or Ontario College of Teachers credentials, or equivalent international qualification.

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Understands and practices Waldorf pedagogy with imagination and integrity
  • Teaches with artistry, curiosity, and reverence for the unfolding of each child
  • Values collaboration, reflection, and professional growth within a dedicated faculty
  • Is a steady presence in the classroom, managing with care and kindness
  • Has strong parent and community communication practices.

Waldorf Academy is an Associate Member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA). Waldorf Academy is a well‑established independent school in midtown Toronto, offering education from early childhood through Grade Eight.
