Job summary

A leading access solutions provider in Canada is seeking an Accounting Professional to handle various accounting functions, including billing activities, bank reconciliations, and month-end entries. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with 2–4 years of related experience, and strong skills in accounting principles, SAP, and Excel. Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally with general ledger responsibilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor billing activities to identify, troubleshoot, and correct errors.
  • Review daily margin reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform timely reconciliation of all bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and post all month-end journal entries in accordance with internal deadlines.
  • Complete monthly account reconciliations and prepare related financial schedules and reports.
  • Enter, reconcile, and verify biweekly payroll journal entries.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and supporting schedules.
  • Perform intercompany account reconciliations and ensure alignment across all entities.

Skills

Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or relevant standards)
Proficiency with SAP
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

Your Key Responsibilities -
  • Monitor billing activities to identify, troubleshoot, and correct errors.
  • Review daily margin reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Prepare and review commissions payable while ensuring accurate reconciliation of sales reporting.
  • Participate in special projects and carry out additional accounting tasks as assigned.
What You Bring To The Role -
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally with general ledger responsibilities.
