Job description

We are recruiting for Canada’s largest and most trusted supplier and service provider for Power Generation systems across the country, looking to expand their team in the greater Toronto, ON area. Our client provides a full complement of sales, rentals, and service support for standby, mobile, and prime power generator systems.

Position Offers :

• 30-$50 CAD / hour based on experience + OT opportunities. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.

Experience :

• Experience working on standby generators and related equipment up to 5 MW.
• Able to conduct load bank tests and perform full PMs.
• Natural gas and / or diesel engine knowledge.
• ATS and switchgear experience preferred.
• PLC engine and generator controllers experience.

Responsibilities :

• Service, repair, modify, and diagnose (variety of brands) standby power generators up to 5MW.
• Perform failure analysis, emergency field service, and / or repairs for customers.
• Conduct start-ups, PM service, and load bank tests.
• Maintain and repair ATSs (both regular and bypass units).
• Work on a variety of residential and commercial / industrial customer sites (hospitals, data centers, nursing homes, office buildings, fire stations, correctional facilities, etc.).
