A leading quick-service restaurant operator in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a General Manager I to oversee the restaurant's operations, staff management, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of P&L management experience and a background in food service management. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to create an engaging work environment for staff, with a rotating schedule and commitment to safety standards.
Purpose:
The purpose of the General Manager I (GM) position is to manage a QSR restaurant or a small cluster of restaurants or points-of-sale in close proximity, with sales generally up to $5M. The GM ensures the restaurant is clean, staffed, open for business, and operates to high operational and financial standards. The GM uses broad discretion and judgment to make leadership decisions and is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant.

Ensures all assistant managers and staff recognize the importance of closing the restaurant to prepare for opening, holding Shift Managers accountable for executing all closing and opening checklist/requirements.
