Qualifications

  • Possess construction and maintenance experience.
  • Must be a certified Journeyman Gasfitter - Class A or Class B.
  • Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to work safely.

Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and inspect/test operation of burner management systems.
  • Calibrate components and instruments.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work.
  • Executes maintenance activities and stays up to date with applicable government regulations.
  • Prepares formal combustion reports for clients and internal use.
  • Consults with members of the combustion team on field codes and environmental emissions.

PTW is hiring a local Burner Tech / Gasfitter to join our team in Lloydminster, Alberta.

A DAY IN THE LIFE…
  • Install, commission, and inspect/test operation of burner management systems and diagnose faults.
  • Calibrate components and instruments.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports.
  • Executes maintenance activities and stays up to date with applicable government regulations.
  • Performs all combustion services duties and attends to all the needs in the field.
  • Prepares formal combustion reports for clients and internal use.
  • Recommends combustion equipment and services improvements and upgrades.
  • Consults with members of the combustion team on field codes and environmental emissions.
  • Performs a variety of business administration duties.
Experience Requirements
  • Must possess construction and maintenance experience.
  • Must be a certified Journeyman Gasfitter - Class A or Class B.
  • Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
  • Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to work safely.
Tickets Requirements
  • Must have valid safety tickets (CSTS-20, H2S, Standard First Aid, CSO).
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
