Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a gaming environment.
• Strong proficiency in relevant software tools (MS Word, Excel).
• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate gaming floor maintenance and conduct reconciliations.
• Supervise pit activity and provide direction as needed.
• Ensure compliance with gaming standards and regulations.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching.
• Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Manage employee scheduling and payroll tasks.

This role provides leadership, motivation and development support to the team. Additionally, the Gaming Operations Floor Manager is flexible and supportive, stepping in to various positions as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates gaming floor maintenance as well as conducts card, dice and tile reconciliation.
• Supervises and observes pit activity, providing direction to front line employees as required.
• Ensures compliance to gaming standards/regulations and policies/procedures.
• Supervises and manages the performance of individuals through ongoing coaching, feedback and development to motivate, engage and drive a high-performing team.
• Promotes and models exceptional customer service.
• Works quickly to resolve customer complaints.
• Manages layout inventory to ensure adequate gaming resource availability.
• Monitors game operations to ensure that house rules are followed, and laws and regulations are adhered to.
• Completes various tasks to ensure effective operations, including planning for adequate employees’ levels and managing payroll.
• Oversees staff scheduling and management.
• Collaborates with Human Resources to develop recruitment plans based on labour needs, participates in internal and external job candidate selection, including screening, conducting interviews, testing and related activities.
• Monitors and analyzes customer satisfaction scores to gain customer insight.

What You Bring

• Experience as a Gaming Operations Floor Supervisor and/or Pit Manager.
• Proficiency in computer programs such as but not limited to MS Word and Excel.
• Proven organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and proven organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze staffing numbers and make recommendations.
• Capacity to manage a team and take over various roles as required.
