Overview

You will join the Liquidity Risk Management Team as a Full Stack Developer, responsible for providing an in-house analysis/reporting platform to a global group of enterprise liquidity risk analysts and managers. You will work closely with developers to analyze business, technical and system needs to enhance and introduce features to a continuously growing application. Our team is looking for an individual who is excited to be working with large amounts of data and is eager to learn new technologies within the big data domain to support our business needs.

What will you do?
  • Assist in designing and developing data-intensive systems using cloud and big data technologies.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze, design, develop, test, and implement solutions in an agile environment.
  • Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements for a growing application.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system reliability.
  • Learn and apply new technologies to address business challenges.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
What do you need to Succeed?

Must Have:

  • Interest in working with Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Java, Scala) and ETL development.
  • Basic understanding of Big Data architecture.
  • Experience with Java, Spring, REST APIs, Microservices, Linux, SQL databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and automated testing tools.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and functional programming principles.

Nice to Have:

  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to slice and dice the data as needed for business reporting.
  • Good Team player who can work with onsite/offshore models and deadline oriented.
  • The candidate is expected to be dynamic, flexible, and energetic, as this is a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently given general guidance.
