Overview

We are looking for a year round full-time friendly, reliable, mature, and responsible hotel front desk associate / room attendant to be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and verifying guests’ payment methods during check-in along with general housekeeping skills i.e., making beds, cleaning bathrooms etc. You should have a pleasant and professional disposition with guests and other hotel staff, and a passion for customer service and making people happy. Oct – May 4 days working Front desk and 1 day working in Housekeeping. May till Oct 5 days a week Front desk.

Hotel Front Desk Responsibilities
  • Checking guests in and out.
  • Receiving and managing reservations.
  • Verifying guest identification and payment during check-in.
  • Assigning rooms to guests and informing them of any specials offered by the hotel
  • Providing guests with information about the hotel.
  • Keeping abreast of attractions that may be of interest to guests.
  • Serving as a concierge to all hotel, dining room, conference, and spa guests and ensuring that all guests are happy. This can include assisting in other departments (housekeeping) as required.
  • Assist the Resort Director and General Manager as required.
Hotel Front Desk Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Hotel setting is a strong asset. Not required.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced, stressful environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mix of Morning and afternoon shifts required 8am-4pm or 12pm-8pm
  • Well-presented and professional appearance.
  • Ability to learn on the job.
  • Top-notch customer service skills.
  • Experience handling customers/guests who are disgruntled.
  • Must have flexible hours. Working Evenings/Weekends/Holidays is a requirement in hospitality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
