Responsibilities
  • A. Patient Check-in: Greet patients warmly and initiate check-in within 5 minutes. Verify appointment details, update information, and confirm pharmacy, allergies, and medications in EMR with accuracy.
  • B. Phone Management: Answer phone calls promptly with a professional tone. Provide necessary information, document follow-ups or messages. Prioritize urgent calls and ensure proper triage.
  • C. Appointment Booking: Schedule appointments. Confirm patient referrals before booking. Review the daily schedule to avoid overlaps or errors.
  • D. Call Triage and Forwarding: Answer, triage, and forward calls within 2 minutes. Log calls requiring follow-up and direct them appropriately.
  • E. Physician Communication: Document and communicate patient concerns to the relevant physician in a timely manner. Ensure no critical information is overlooked.
  • F. Administrative Tasks: Collect, sort, and distribute mail within 24 hours of receipt. Ensure new documents and labs are filed for the physician.
