Overview

The Village of Riverside Glen located in Guelph Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Food Service Worker / Aide (FSA) to join their Retirement Team.

Shift Details: 6:15 AM - 2:15 PM. Tuesday Saturday and Sunday required.

Responsibilities
  • As a new Food Services team member (FSA) you will be enrolled in or willing to enroll in the Food Services Worker training program
  • Hold a valid Food Handlers certification
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
  • Be able to lift up to 35lbs
  • Have exceptional time management skills and ability to work in collaboration with a team
  • Assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents, ensuring we meet residents' diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques
  • Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents
  • Food Service Team Members at Schlegel Villages assist with the preparation of catering functions and events and maintaining a clean dining room and workspace
