This position is a great opportunity to showcase your expertise and fully realize your potential within a caring and trustworthy company. Here, people and their development are at the heart of our priorities, fostering an environment where collaboration and innovation can thrive.

Within the iA Advanced Case Solutions program, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a specialized service dedicated to advisors whose clients require complex strategies related to sales concepts, tax optimization, and the integration of individual insurance and savings products.

What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Financial Planner, you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are your main responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Advanced Financial and Tax Solutions department.
  • Develop new financial and tax planning tools and calculators used by the team and advisors, and keep them up to date.
  • Analyze, draft, and present recommendations on various advanced financial planning topics for iA Financial Group’s high‑net‑worth clients.
  • Occasionally provide and deliver training, in collaboration with team members, to wealth management leaders, individual insurance leaders, and advisors on topics such as taxation, business transfers, data gathering, etc.
  • Participate in the training of new team members and coach interns.
  • Produce recommendations for analyzed cases and explain complex information in clear terms for advisors and financial planners across our networks.
  • Occasionally participate in presenting financial planning reports to clients alongside the advisor or financial planner.
  • Analyze all requests received by email, allocate work according to each person’s specialty, understand the request, the technical content, and the final objective.

In collaboration with other teams in the Individual Insurance division, you will also:

  • Conduct research on new developments in financial and tax planning.
  • Analyze results and prepare reports and recommendations for management.
  • Establish forecasts and analyze trends related to sales, finance, and other business areas.
  • Create “what‑if” financial models to support future business planning decisions in areas such as product development and marketing strategy design.
What could accelerate your success in this role

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is recognized for their rigor, autonomy, and strong analytical and synthesis skills, enabling effective support for professional and high‑net‑worth clients.
  • Stands out for their proactivity, attention to detail, reliability, and energy in implementing tailored financial strategies.
  • Demonstrates strong mastery of technological tools, including Excel programming with VBA and advanced PowerPoint use.
  • Is known for professionalism, collaboration skills, and a commitment to excellence in financial planning.
  • Has 3 to 5 years of experience in financial planning with professionals, business owners, and high‑net‑worth clients.
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Financial Services profile or a related field, as well as a financial planning designation achieved or in progress.
  • Possesses an advanced level of English since the role requires regular communication with English‑speaking clients.
Why you’ll love working with us
  • A work environment where learning and development merge with a collective pursuit of excellence.
  • A healthy, safe, fair, and inclusive environment where potential can be freely expressed and developed.
  • The opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, supported by flexibility and access to inspiring and innovative workspaces.
  • Competitive benefits: Flexible group insurance, competitive pension plan, stock purchase plan, vacation and wellness/personal development days, telemedicine, employee and family assistance program, ergonomic furniture program, performance bonus, discounts on iA products, and much more!
