Overview

Title: Energy Conservation, Business Solutions, Advisor

Duration: 12 months (Potential for extension)

Location: Chatham, Ontario- Hybrid (In-Office on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday; Remote on Wednesday & Friday)

Shift: 8 am-4:30 pm, 8:30 am-5:00 pm, or 9 am-5:30 pm

Pay Rate: $40/hr

Travel Requirements: Sometimes travel to London, North York, or other locations in Southwestern Ontario for team meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Summarize, review, and reconcile financial costs for monthly reporting.
  • Upload data and confirm accurate support has been included.
  • Prepare journal entries.
  • Code invoices.
  • Perform account reconciliations and financial analysis.
  • Assist with preparing and reviewing legal contracts.
  • Assist with year-end financial reporting activities.
  • Support ad-hoc inquiries as needed.
Qualifications
  • Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics Degree (or similar educational experience).
  • 4+ years of related Energy Conservation or industry experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills, proficient with Power BI.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles, journal entries, and the ability to conduct financial analysis.
  • Strong quantitative skills; proficient in analyzing and manipulating data.
  • Sound judgement and critical thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to manage multiple processes, handle competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • A self-starter who is driven and possesses strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
