Job description

Purity Gas is a results‑oriented team of professionals driven by passion for innovation, continuous improvement and collaboration. We disrupt the multi‑billion‑dollar nitrogen gas market with state‑of‑the‑art technology that allows commercial & industrial gas users to reliably, safely and cost‑effectively produce their own supply of gaseous nitrogen in‑house and on‑demand, for a fraction of the cost of buying nitrogen from third‑party gas suppliers.

Our cutting‑edge NITROCENTER® solutions offer a compelling value proposition to industrial and commercial nitrogen gas users, primarily through the capability to produce nitrogen gas on demand, often at a staggering 90% cost reduction compared to conventional bulk nitrogen gas delivery methods. However, the advantages extend far beyond financial savings. Our nitrogen generation technology prioritizes environmental sustainability by minimizing energy consumption during production and eliminating the necessity for nitrogen gas transportation via traditional means, such as transport trucks. This approach not only reduces carbon footprint but also enhances operational efficiency, aligning with our commitment to responsible and sustainable operations.

At Purity Gas, our culture is defined by collaboration, motivation, and adaptability, creating an environment that inspires both our team members and partners alike. We prioritize a work culture that not only fosters excitement but also remains responsive to the diverse needs of our clients, partners, and employees. Our greatest asset lies in our positive, goal‑focused team, whose dedication drives us towards collective success, innovation, and growth.

The Field Services Manager is responsible for leading the entire field service organization, including both the field technicians and the internal service administration team. This role ensures that all service operations, from commissioning to preventative maintenance and emergency response, are executed safely, efficiently, and consistently with Purity Gas standards.

The successful candidate will bring proven experience managing technical service teams in industrial machinery, compressed air systems, or process gas equipment, and will have the operational discipline to design and implement scalable service processes that support the company’s rapid growth.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the field service team to achieve performance, safety, and quality objectives.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new field service technicians in alignment with company standards and growth plans.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and skills assessments to support continuous improvement.
Process Development & Scale‑Up
  • Develop and implement standardized service procedures, work instructions, and documentation to support scalability.
  • Create systems for service scheduling, work order management, and service reporting that integrate effectively with ERP and CRM tools.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting structures to measure service performance, response times, and client satisfaction.
Operations & Execution
  • Oversee all service activities including installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of nitrogen generation systems.
  • Regularly engage with the company’s customers and vendors to resolve challenges and conduct satisfaction surveys.
  • Manage the service administration team to ensure timely dispatching, work order processing, and client communication.
  • Maintain a strong field presence to support key clients and reinforce service quality standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Finance to align service billing, warranties, and maintenance contracts.
  • Collaborate with Operations on feedback loops from the field to drive design and reliability improvements.
  • Support the development of extended service programs, preventive maintenance plans, and spare parts packages.
Safety & Compliance
  • Uphold a strong safety culture through regular training, audits, and adherence to Purity Gas safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and federal regulations governing industrial service operations.
