Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Family Lawyer located in Red Deer, AB, with flexibility for remote work on a partial basis. The Family Lawyer will be responsible for managing family law cases, providing legal advice and guidance to clients, preparing legal documents, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court. The role also involves conducting legal research to support cases and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality legal services.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge in Family Law, custody cases, and divorce proceedings
  • Proven experience in legal drafting, document preparation, and contract review
  • Effective negotiation, conflict resolution, and mediation skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in legal research and understanding of court procedures
  • Ability to balance empathetic client interactions with delivering strategic legal solutions
  • Licensed to practice law in Alberta and in good standing with the Alberta Bar Association
  • Experience with case management systems or legal practice software is an asset
