One of my best client firms is seeking qualified Family Lawyers.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Manage assigned caseload
  2. Draft and respond to correspondence
  3. Prepare pleadings, financial disclosures, mediation, and trial briefs
  4. Telephone and in-person contact with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts
  5. Prepare witness questions for evidentiary hearings, depositions, and trials
  6. Track billable time
  7. Assist the supervising lawyers in all phases of the practice

Qualifications:

  • Must be admitted to Alberta bar
  • 2-3+ Years Practicing Family Law
  • Empathetic, and level-headed demeanor to properly handle sensitive family law matters
  • Possess strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
