Job Overview:
Reporting to the Director, Engineering, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Monitor Dayforce daily to authorize activities from the previous day.
- Prepare and send Dayforce reports to Payroll bi-weekly.
- Input weekly schedules accurately and adjust for employee time-off requests in Watson / Unifocus.
- Generate purchase orders (POs) using Birchstreet.
- Coordinate order placements with suppliers using designated PO numbers.
- Establish and monitor vendors in CORA, ensuring vendor status is current.
- Manage daily operations within the CORA system.
- Verify invoices in CORA to ensure timely payment processing.
- Compile and distribute monthly financial reports to CASD.
- Consistently offer professional, engaging, and friendly service.
- Follow policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel vehicles.
- Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
English Fluency Level required for position: Advanced
Your experience and skills include:
- Relevant experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Possession of a valid Alberta Driver's License.
- Familiarity with POMEC GL codes for accurate coding.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications required (Word, Excel & Power Point).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Responsible and able to complete work without supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision.
