Overview

What’s the Job? We are seeking a customer-focused Facilities Services Customer Center Operator to support hospital facilities operations. This role handles inbound service requests and dispatches work orders in a fast-paced, 24/7 dispatch center environment.

Location: On-site – Hospital Environment

Pay Rate: $21.95/hour

Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts | 24/7/365 operation

Schedule Requirements
  • Rotating shifts (days/nights)
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
  • On-call availability may be required
  • Not remote / not hybrid – on-site attendance required
Responsibilities
  • Receive service requests via phone, email, and web
  • Create, prioritize, and dispatch work orders
  • Communicate with technicians, facilities teams, and vendors
  • Provide professional, high-quality customer service
  • Conduct overhead hospital code announcements clearly and accurately
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; technical/business coursework preferred
  • 1+ year of customer service, dispatch, or call center experience
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Clear enunciation required (verbal assessment during interview)
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
