Overview

Our busy Orleans food truck employs 10-20 full and part-time staff every year. We\'re looking to add one more seasonally permanent, full-time member to our team.

Starting wage is $21.80 / hr. We\'re looking for a full-time, multi faceted team member that is comfortable and will enjoy being trained on all stations - as a prep cook, cashier and handout window. Tips are paid out daily and generally range from $4-$10 / hour.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train on many roles, including prep cook, cashier, handout window, fryer cook, grill cook, etc.
• Ideally have experience as a cashier in a high-volume fast food restaurant.
• Work in a fast paced environment and contribute as part of a team; assist where needed in a true team spirit.
• Learn the menu and gain a good grasp of the preparation and ingredients in all menu items.
• Meet food safety standards, prepare menu items, and pay attention to special instructions and food allergies.
• Learn to complete daily and weekly cleaning and sanitization.
• Obtain a Food Handlers Certification within 90 days of commencement of employment.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting wage is $21.80 / hr; pay range listed as $21.80-$23.00 per year (note: per original wording).

• Full and part-time team members are eligible for year round group benefits: dental, extended health care and drugs.
• Full-time team members are eligible for 5% RRSP matching.
• Tips are paid out daily and typically range from $4-$10 / hour.

Work Schedule & Location

• We close for the winter from December to mid-March. Full-time staff are generally eligible for EI benefits through the winter months.
