Job summary

A leading financial services firm in Toronto is seeking a Student, Dealer Relations to help support client services and improve efficiencies. As part of the co-op program, you’ll work with various teams and gain valuable insights into the financial industry. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in finance, commerce, or related fields, and must be bilingual in French and English. A flexible hybrid working arrangement will be provided.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Partner with departments across Fidelity and learn how the back office provides support to those areas
  • Work with various teams within Client Services in order to resolve inquires arising from Dealer back office
  • Update, research and maintain advisor information and change requests from various business units including Sales, Client Services, Processing, Dealer Relations and external clients
  • Support the Sales client experience through the timely and accurate update of account information (using AXIS and Salesforce.com)
  • Manage short term database projects and improve efficiencies in the process
  • Provide support to the Dealer Relations Representatives and other ad hoc assignments

What we’re looking for:

  • Working towards a university degree with a concentration in finance, commerce, economics or business is preferred
  • A keen interest and knowledge of the financial industry and capital markets
  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to support positive interactions with both internal and external clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • You are bilingual in French and English (an asset)
  • You must be currently enrolled in a registered co-op program to be considered for this position
  • You must also be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the co-op term

You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.

Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.
