ABOUT BUFF WAX SPOT: Buff is Edmonton's original chain of wildly popular wax bars. We perform friendly, quick and clean full-body waxing services for ALL bodies. We're top-rated, super-busy and looking for Edmonton's finest to join our team as a Wax Tech. We pride ourselves on delivering friendly, professional and meticulous hair waxing services to our clients. Qualifications

Esthetician certification
Computer savvy including learning and using in-house software systems

Responsibilities

• You must be able to: Provide friendly, quick and clean full-body hair waxing services for female and male bits (performing male Brazilians is optional) with both strip wax and hard wax, according to our wax training protocols
• Stand for the duration of your shift, bend often and occasionally lift items weighing up to 10 pounds
• Manage your time effectively by adhering to our time standards and handle periods of high volume with ease
• Provide the highest-quality service and treat your clients with care, kindness, great conversation, friendly demeanour and sense of humour
• Maintain a polished, fashionable and business-appropriate appearance
• Educate clients and sell pre-and post-wax care and skin care products
• Show up on time and ready to work, with a great attendance record
• Pay significant attention to detail, including maintaining a professional, orderly, and clean work environment (and of course, cleaning and sanitizing your space between clients!)
• Take initiative and solve problems quickly and effectively
• Contribute to an energetic, purposeful, and creative environment that encourages team work with shared values of Respect, Support, Consistency, Compassion, Openness, and Humfunepo
• Work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends (Note: Buff Wax Spot hours are Tuesday-Friday from 9:00am-8:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am-5:00pm. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays)

Schedule

Shifts include evenings and weekends. Buff Wax Spot hours are Tuesday-Friday 9:00am-8:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm. We are closed Sundays and Mondays. Attendance at staff meetings and trainings may occasionally occur on Mondays.
