Overview

Nordstern Group of Companies is excited to announce a new opportunity to join our growing IT Team as an ERP & Data Support Specialist. This is an on-site role where you’ll work closely with our Data Analyst and provide direct support to our Odyssey ERP users across the organization including production staff, Lead Hands, and shop technicians. This position is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow their career in IT and data systems within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry, reporting, and support activities in Odyssey ERP, Limble CMMS, and other systems.
  • Set up products, tooling, routings, customer orders, and shop orders in ERP.
  • Support shipping, invoicing, and month-end inventory processes.
  • Check and reconcile inventory transactions in ERP, including physically locating and counting inventory in the foundry and across buildings.
  • Provide approachable, customer-focused support to ERP users on-site.
  • Export, run, and distribute reports (Access, Excel, ERP) including weekly/monthly sales reports.
  • Participate in IT Scrum Team activities and use Microsoft Planner for team organization.
  • Uphold safe work and cybersecurity practices, leading by example in keeping systems secure.
  • Shadow and learn from the Data Analyst, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Attend daily production meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A collaborative team player who communicates well and works independently when needed.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills—approachable, patient, and professional.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including walking through the foundry and between buildings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with ERP systems (Odyssey and/or others) is an asset, but training will be provided.
