Position Summary

The Calgary Stampede is seeking an analytical and solution focused individual to join our Business Services team in the role of an ERP Business Analyst. The ERP business Analyst is pivotal in implementing, configuring, and maintaining our ERP system. Collaborating with numerous teams, the role ensures successful deployment, conducts system customization, handles maintenance, and troubleshoots issues. Responsibilities span data management, user training, and stakeholder collaboration for process optimization. The Analyst generates insightful reports, showcasing strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Business Analysis & Requirements Management
  • Analyze business processes within assigned functional areas (operations, finance, guest services).
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Document current state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed ERP module specifications.
  • Validate proposed solutions with department stakeholders.
System Configuration & Testing
  • Configure Momentus ERP modules according to approved specifications.
  • Develop test scenarios and coordinate user acceptance testing.
  • Execute system testing protocols and document results.
  • Resolve configuration issues and coordinate with Momentus support as needed.
  • Maintain test environments and data integrity within Momentus.
Daily System Administration & User Support
  • Monitor daily ERP system performance and availability.
  • Manage user accounts and security within Momentus.
  • Respond to support tickets and resolve system issues.
  • Provide technical support for ERP functionality.
  • Coordinate with Momentus support for updates and maintenance.
  • Assist users with system navigation and troubleshooting.
Project Support & Implementation
  • Participate in ERP implementation projects and system upgrades.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Assist with change management and user adoption initiatives.
  • Support go-live activities and post-implementation stabilization.
Training & User Support
  • Develop training materials, job aids, and user documentation.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and new user orientations.
  • Provide ongoing support for ERP functionality questions.
  • Maintain knowledge base articles and FAQ resources.
  • Elevate complex or cross-functional ERP matters to leadership or the designated technical authority for further action.
Data Management & Reporting
  • Process routine data uploads and system integrations.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity across ERP modules.
  • Execute data cleanup and maintenance activities.
  • Generate standard and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders.
  • Analyze system performance metrics and usage patterns.
  • Recommend data cleanup and optimization activities.
  • Maintain reporting templates and dashboards.
Process Documentation & Compliance
  • Document business processes and system workflows.
  • Update SOPs and user guides.
  • Record system changes and configuration updates.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with Senior ERP Business Analyst on system modifications.
Special Event & High-Volume Support
  • Provide extended system support during major events and peak periods.
  • Coordinate with event management teams on system needs.
  • Ensure payment processing systems remain operational during events.
  • Assist with event-specific reporting requirements.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Momentus ERP modules and business process optimization.
  • Minimum 5 years of ERP business analysis experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in translating business requirements into system specifications.
  • Experience supporting ERP system configuration, testing, and user support.
  • Experience participating in ERP projects, upgrades, and change management initiatives.
Working Conditions
