Job summary

A dedicated healing and learning center in Ontario is looking for an individual to assist in planning and facilitating programs that incorporate Indigenous culture to support trauma healing and wellness for clients. This role involves team collaboration and independent work to create effective treatment programs for children, youth, adults, and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and designing programs.
• Understanding of Indigenous culture and its application in healing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design and facilitation of various programs.
• Incorporate Indigenous culture in healing activities.
• Work with clients to assist with the healing of trauma and overall wellness.

Job description

• Assist in planning, design and facilitation of various programs.
• Incorporate Indigenous culture in healing activities.
• Work with a team in designing a treatment program for children, youth, adults and families.
• Work with clients to assist in after care planning and needs.
• Work with intake to ensure programs fulfilled.
• Work with clients in program to assist with the healing of trauma and overall wellness.
• Attend debriefings to review program design, delivery and facilitation.
• Work in a team environment and independently.
• Completing/filing Serious Occurrence’s when deemed necessary.
• When required, prepare stats for funders.
