Your mandate

Join Norda Stelo’s dynamic team as a Project Manager and lead large-scale environmental projects as part of a passionate multidisciplinary team. You will direct environmental initiatives across varied sectors and coordinate leading teams, with opportunities to conduct impact assessments and implement eco-responsible solutions, including roads and civil structures, climate change initiatives, renewable energy, restoration of mine sites, and more.

Your challenges
  • Strategic planning: Develop innovative strategies for the development of large-scale environmental projects
  • Team coordination: Direct and inspire multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and innovation
  • Resource management: Optimize the use of available resources to ensure project success
  • Project management: Ensure smooth progress while balancing quality and deadlines
  • Coaching and development of professionals: Contribute expertise to the team, fostering growth within the company
  • Environmental project management: Design, coordinate and supervise environmental projects in transportation, mining and energy; evaluate mitigation measures and propose recommendations
  • Environmental sustainability: Promote sustainable practices and environmentally respectful solutions
  • Regulatory compliance: Plan and supervise the preparation of environmental authorization applications
  • Environmental risk management: Identify, assess and mitigate environmental risks at various project stages
  • Client relationship proposal and management: Contribute to proposals and maintain client relationships for budget and deadline management
  • Communication and reports: Prepare detailed reports, impact assessments and recommendations for stakeholders
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, geography, engineering or another relevant environment and project management discipline
  • Master’s degree in environmental science, biology, engineering or related field (an advantage)
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience, including 5 years as an environmental project manager
  • Marine environment and mining experience is an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of environmental laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and multidisciplinary project management skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and tackle complex challenges
  • Strong writing, analytical and synthesis abilities
  • Structured time and priority management
  • Proficiency in oral and written English; French is an asset
