Your Opportunity
Stantec’s Alberta Environmental Services group is currently seeking an Environmental Planner to work within our Assessment and Permitting Team.
We are relationship builders who have established excellent working relationships with regulators and clients in western Canada. Our regulatory knowledge, environmental assessment experience and scientific expertise allow us to help our clients develop the most effective and innovative approach to meeting their regulatory and permitting needs.In this position you will be exposed to an exciting array of projects in various stages of their lifecycle including permitting, approval requirements, and construction and post-construction support. Typical projects include small to large-scale urban development and infrastructure projects. As part of the team, you will also have opportunity to get involved in provincial and federal pipelines, oil and gas facilities, and power-related projects (including renewables). We are always growing as we continue to adapt to the changing environment in which we work and are excited to work on a number of exciting projects.

Field identification skills for vegetation and wetland assessments and/or wildlife identification skills are required. Other biophysical field skills considered an asset.
