Job description

The ERP Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, customization, and ongoing support of the company’s ERP system to optimize production, inventory, and operational efficiency in a metal bleacher and stage manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Configure, organize, and maintain the ERP system to align with company operations, ensuring seamless integration with other platforms such as CAD, MRP, and accounting systems.
  • Create and modify ERP modules, workflows, reports, and scripts to meet the unique needs of production, inventory, purchasing, and business functions.
  • Manage, setup and maintain of Bills of Material (BOM), part numbers, and work orders to ensure alignment between engineering design and production execution.
  • Identify and resolve ERP-related technical issues, updates, and performance enhancements as needed.
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Finance teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support to maximize ERP adoption and data accuracy.
  • Safeguard system data by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data security protocols.
  • Monitor system usage and performance, identify process inefficiencies, and recommend improvements for workflow automation and reporting.
  • Maintain clear and current documentation of system configurations, procedures, and change history.
