Qualifications

  • Experience managing engineers in a people leadership role.
  • Background in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience operating production systems in AWS.
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, and containerized systems.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, with Terraform required.

About the Team

We’re hiring an Engineering Manager to lead our Infrastructure / DevOps team, responsible for the delivery, operational health, and execution of infrastructure work that supports critical production systems across the organization.

This role requires a strong technical foundation to guide decisions and support the team, but success is driven by effective prioritization, clear direction, and people leadership—rather than individual contribution.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of Infrastructure / DevOps engineers, fostering growth, sustainable workloads, and long-term engagement
  • Own planning and delivery for the team, ensuring priorities are clear, commitments are met, and ownership is well-defined
  • Be accountable for system reliability, incident response practices, and post-incident follow-ups that drive measurable improvements over time
  • Provide technical oversight by reviewing designs, guiding architectural decisions, and helping the team navigate trade-offs
  • Ensure documentation, runbooks, and operational standards are consistently maintained and evolved
  • Act as the primary point of accountability when partnering with cross-functional teams, enabling infrastructure work that supports the broader organization
